The Integrated Curriculum of the First and Second Cycle of Secondary School of the Scuola Italiana di Montevideo is based on a formative project that is based on the integration of the curriculum and programs of both countries: Italy and Uruguay.
Planning, methodology and evaluation are three aspects on which our project is based.
The training process also includes subjects not included in the local curriculum (technology, art history, theater, Latin, English literature) and is characterized by activities involving two teachers from related areas (work in pairs) and by interdisciplinary teaching methods that avoid the fragmentation of knowledge and favor the acquisition of transversal competencies and skills.
The Integrated Curriculum of the Scuola Italiana di Montevideo allows our students to share a learning environment based on two cultures in constant interrelation. Both, properly connected, make possible a more universalistic conception comparing aspects of human life and culture.
